Herb Walk at Jellpysy Ranch
On May 15th Herbalist Suzanne Gregorius RN, RPP and part business owner of A Valley of Vitality Wellness Studio brought her students enrolled in the herb class to Jellpsy Ranch to identify and wildcraft a few of the plants and herbs that are native to the area. Some of the herbs and plants tand trees identified were Arnica, Balm Of Gilead, Cats Claw, Cottonwoods, Creosote Bush, Goldenrod, Horehound, Indian Paintbrush, Milk Thistle, Periwinkle, Manzanita and Prickly Pear.
Common sense guidelines were taught to the class to be certain of what you are eating or using on your body. When obtaining plants or herbs always be 110% positive of the identity of any herb or wildplant before you use it. Be aware of any underlying medical conditions you may have and any of the medicines you are taking. Also to stop and listen to your body. If you witness anything out of the ordinary, stop whatever you are doing.
After walking the land and identifying the plants and herbs, the students walked the labryinth and enjoyed the sacred space and private spots to meditate. Christina Corbisello taught the students how to make ear cones for ear candling.
Some of the things that were taught in the 9 week herbal class, were how to make tinctures, ear coning, bach flower remedies and learning the herbs that help with each of the body systems.

Reiki I introduces you to the Reiki energy. You will learn the history of Reiki, what Reiki is and how and where you can use this beautiful healing energy. Class includes a manual that will also be used in Reiki II. Class is limited to 10 people.
$25 Deposit due 7 days prior to class with the balace due the day of the class. Deposit not refundable though it can be used for future classes.
